Free lessons at Saturday Socials at Tribecas!

New format for dance lessons at Saturday night club social at

Tribeca (6-7pm)

From now on, lessons are on a two-month cycle starting the first Saturday of every odd number month (except it will start on second Saturday in January). The cycle consists of six progressive lessons, each with a planned syllabus. The syllabus of seventh, eight, and ninth week (if there is one) are to be announced later and may vary with each cycle

 Lesson 1     Shag basic and female turn

 Lesson 2     Review previous week.  Male turn and start step with lead out

 Lesson 3     Review previous week.  Crossover basic, cuddle-up with lead out, trail with lead out.

 Lesson 4     Review previous week.   Kick ball change, tuck turn from Start step and Cuddle-up, Optional: Male female free spin in place (butt –roll)

 Lesson 5      Review previous week.   Shuffle step, Open tuck turn (push turn) and Halo turn.

 Lesson 6      Review previous week.   Cross-over basic with kick ball change.  Man follows lady across/down slot.  Natural turn as man follows lady to her end of slot.

 Lesson  7  ,8 and 9 if there is one,  are instructors choice
