It’s time to renew your Colonial Shag Club membership if you are a member. 
If not a member it’s a good time to join and make it effective January 1, 2026.

• According to the bylaws dues are due before January of the upcoming calendar year.  There is a grace period which provides for a member to maintain contiguous membership if dues are paid February 1st of the upcoming calendar year.  
• Some criteria to be aware of should you consider becoming a board member of Colonial Shag Club are (Reference CSC Bylaws of November 14, 2015):
  • Article 3, Section 4, Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Paragraph A.  Each Officer and Director shall be a Regular Member in good standing throughout his or her term of office and have been a Regular Member in good standing throughout the one year period before taking office.
    • Paragraph B. The President and Vice President must each have served at least one year on the Board before becoming President and Vice President respectively, and any previous year of service on the Board will satisfy this requirement.
